As designers, we’re often focused on solving problems, fixing friction, and checking off feature requirements—but delight can feel like a “nice-to-have” rather than a priority. I gave this talk to challenge that thinking.
Delight isn't fluff—it’s strategic. It deepens user trust, encourages retention, and helps products stand out in saturated markets. Whether it's a subtle microinteraction or a thoughtful surprise in a workflow, moments of delight create emotional connection and elevate the everyday.
This Lunch & Learn was my way of sparking a broader conversation about designing with intention, empathy, and joy—and how delight can (and should) be part of every product roadmap.
